Our Story
Created and designed by a car wash operator, Virtual Wash Attendant™ was developed to solve multiple challenges that car wash businesses face in daily operations.

For years, car washes and the entire retail sector have struggled with labor shortages and staffing issues. As large corporations continue to expand, finding employees willing to work general labor positions—such as at a car wash—has become increasingly difficult. With gig economy opportunities like Uber, DoorDash, and other on-demand jobs, potential workers have a wide array of flexible alternatives to choose from. When combined with rising labor costs, this creates a recipe for understaffed locations and reduced customer service.

We set out to create a voice-based kiosk attendant that could help bridge the growing labor gap while also reducing labor costs for car wash owners. Thus, Virtual Wash Attendant Ava was born. The core principle behind VWA Ava is simple: provide an interactive voice assistant at the kiosk that can guide customers through the process using natural speech, eliminating the need to navigate a touchscreen menu on their own.

Our goal was to create a kiosk voice assistant capable of answering customer questions as well as helping with screen navigation. With Virtual Wash Attendant, owners can reduce labor expenses at the kiosk while still ensuring that customers get the assistance they need.

In addition to kiosk voice interaction and screen navigation, VWA ensures that every customer who selects a single car wash is consistently pitched a monthly membership—or whatever promotion your business wants to highlight. Now, every wash comes with a guaranteed pitch—no human intervention needed. No call-offs guaranteed.
